Is it possible to get an App or service to generate a disposable UK phone number?

I there a way to get a second number for your phone to use for applying for jobs and providing for marketing services, so you don't have to give out your main number and end up getting spam calls etc?
My phone can't take a second sim or esim.

Yeah, there are a few services that do this. I’ve used WantSMS before, it’s pretty straightforward for getting a temporary UK number without much hassle.

Buy a better phone (or a cheap second one) and a cheap Lebara sim (Via moneysaving expert) 100GB data for £2.80/month for 7 months then cancel the sim after the deal ends and start a new sim with a new number

If your phone has a second sim slot, or allows virtual sim cards, buy a cheap pay-as-you-go sim from amazon, set it up and top up once a month. Once you get a new job, throw it away.

Any VoIP provider can give you a number.
If you specifically want an 07 number you'll need to look around a bit as many providers do not support virtual mobile numbers.
