Academy is such a weird store they never have any good deals on anything then randomly drops that mother of deals. Like my UH-1 I got for 260 last Black Friday. And the random $25 any purchase of $100 coupon they send out randomly is always awesome. Actually used it yesterday to buy a bunch of hornandy black 9mm that was already on sale.

There was a guy that would get towards the front of the line and when they opened would sprint towards the ammo and pass everybody, he made a few enemies.
The worst was a guy that bought up all the ammo in academy and all the gun shops and would resell it in their parking lot. He eventually got banned from all the local shops and academy had to implement a limit of 3

Honestly is this sub dying or is the market just really slow? I used to check this sub multiple times a day and there were always new deals posted, now the same mediocre deals or in-stock notifications are on the front page for 5+ days. I know this isn't under 20 CPR shipped brass case 9mm like we all would like, but with the world as it is I'd rather stack it deep when I can at a decent price.

From the "trusted" brands absolutely. People will keep skipping these deals hoping from a lot cheaper when the current market conditions and just general inflation will keep prices going up over time. Ammo used to have that cheap crazy price like our grand parents say about milk and bread. People should really get a clue about world we live in when it comes to how "free markets" and politics affect cost of goods and services.

I posted this yesterday and started getting comments about how its not a "deal" and just deleted it because I didn't want to deal with dumbass comments from poors that likely don't shoot or buy ammo as much as I do. And I'm a poor too but I do shoot and stock pile a lot. Everyone's poor is different. I buy by the 1000s and it came out to about $220 OTD for me which is in my BIN range for trusted 124gr in the current market conditions. Would I have been happier if it was 200$ for 1K of 124gr Blazer? Sure. Again I'm a poor but not that poor to skip this deal over an extra 20 per 1K of blazer 124gr OTD.
