[Ammo] 1,000 Rounds of (rebadged) Norma Safeguard 88gr .380 ACP JHP - $300 shipped, no tax to AZ and possibly other states

These are sold as Wyoming Cartridge Company rounds, but inside are 50 Norma-headstamped JHPs, their Safeguard rounds have a very distinctive projectile so I'm sure that's what these are.
They're not going to expand/penetrate appropriately for genuine self-defense purposes IMHO, but at 30 CPR shipped they're even cheaper than any ball ammo I can find. I like Norma's self-defense ammo quite a bit in terms of consistency and reliability.

I have gone through about 600 rounds of this stuff through my LCP Max and it has run 100% reliably. A friend of mine put 50 rounds through his Sig P365 without any problems.

Dang...wish I could trust my Bodyguard 2.0 would like these, because I'd be all over it. Also quite literally got a shipment of Fiocchi 380 today...after coming here regularly looking for 380 deals. OP is right on price though, because that Fiocchi was pretty much the cheapest I could find and it was .34 shipped (plus tax).

I can confirm that round feeds better, but I only have issues if I slingshot the slide. If I use the release, as gun manufacturers intended, I never have problems.

Not saying itâs bad for the gun, just saying youâre upping the chances of a malfunction. I have and have used plenty of firearms that feed fine no matter how I use the slide. Same with long guns.

It most likely would...but I'm not betting $300 on that. I live super rural, so if my gun didn't like 'em for whatever reason, I'd be stuck with a case of ammo that doesn't shoot.

My bodyguard has fed everything. Round nose, flat nose, JHPs, critical defense and underwood defenders. It seems like a lot of others donât reliably feed everything. Iâve seen a ton of people say certain JHPs or underwood or critical defense are a no go in theirs. Seems dependent on the gun unfortunately.

Only info I could find on this ammo is this post where the person said they had 11 failures to fire in one box of 50. Seems like bad reloads.

I mean, maybe? The cases look brand new and they have a Norma head stamp, and Norma has dumped various COVID-era self defense rounds at firesale prices before (ask me why I run 9mm MHP instead of ball ammo at the range in subcompact)

Yeah I don't want to be dismissive of people who feel a bit iffy about Norma ammo, of course. I know they had all kinds of stuff recalled during that time period. I've just run thousands of rounds of all kinds of oddball stuff they were making back then (68gr frangibles, MHP, regular 124gr ball, Envy, etc...) and never had a single problem with any of it. I'm a data set of 1, of course.
