As someone who knows nothing about NV OR thermal, what’s the point of a 1x thermal?

This is a 1-4x magnification thermal that is primarily used in tandem with lpvo’s/ scopes to magnify the imagine without losing resolution quality. This one in particular can be mounted to a J-arm for a true 1x visual to the eye for helmet mounted use which most thermals only get to 2-2.5x minimum zoom like the dnt or agm

ooh, fancy. That resolution would be awesome. I can't wait for the commoditization of hardware going into thermals to bring better resolution at lower prices (it's already happening but I think in 5 years they will be cheaper and better by a good margin)
