Is speech and language therapy a good career to go into?

Is anyone here a speech and language therapist? What is the role like, is it highly stressful, flexible? Is it well paid for the work you do? Is it hard to find a job? I am considering doing the masters conversion course but am not sure

It's really good in schools. You just get a referral, see them once and sign them off without helping at all. Next to ed phych as completely missing in action these days
