Ryzen 5 9600x and rtx5070 for 1080p gaming

Hello everyone,
I'm building my first ever PC and my goal is to have a computer that will run some of the AAA games at high or later medium settings for years to go (preferably at least 5-6 years) and that will also give me smooth performance in some of the shooter games (example: Apex).
I will probably upgrade to a 1440p monitor in the future, but I can't say when yet.
I couldn't find any posts about bottleneck issues for this combo and therefore this post. Should this be my concern with it? I was also thinking about 5 7600X before as it's a bit cheaper, but I'm afraid of frames stuttering.
I will gladly also take any advice on how I could make this build a bit cheaper or just better! I'm open to any changes but because I live in Poland not everything is available or at a good price (this build comes out to around 9000PLN which is 2440 USD) Just please keep in mind that I would want it to be as white themed as possible 😀
The build I was thinking about:

I think you will feel a need to upgrade the rtx 5070 in four years. But thats fine. It is better to do this than buy a 5080.

I was thinking the same think but I am still stuck with GTX 1070 8GB right now. I should upgrade it soon as well! :D

Last time I checked, 9000PLN = 2097.31 €. If your budget doesn't include a brand new monitor as well and you're okay with buying PC parts from Germany, you can get a better GPU than the RTX 5070. I'm not sure if you insist on an Nvidia GPU or not, though.
Anyways, I made a modified build list below to get you started. The list below assumes you insist on an Nvidia GPU. Feel free to change it to your liking if your budget includes a brand new 1440p monitor as well.

Thank you for your help and for this build, it looks really good! I don't mind switching to Radeon, but even though I'm planning to switch to 1440p at some point, I think I'm gonna have to settle with 1080p for a while more, as the 2000 EUR budget is already a hit for my savings as a part-time working student, so I'm not sure if It would be a good choice for this resolution :(

You're welcome.Â
About that build, if you can get a white RX 9070 XT for significantly less money than the cheapest white RTX 5070Ti, you can squeeze in a brand new 1440p monitor as well.Â

7600x and 9600x have identical perfomance. 9600x has better power consuption. I have 5700x with rtx5070 and bo stuttering anywhere.

Can I ask what resolution monitor do u use? Also 1080p?
Kotschcus_Domesticus@reddit
I have dell 1440p 180hz. I would upgrade monitor as well. if you stay at 1080p get 5060ti/9060xt 16gb. but at that res gpu might not reach its full potential. I dont think you experience stutter because of old AM4 platform. some games just does not run well regardless of Hw, mainly UE games.

Thank you for ur help! Though I don't really understand what you mean by that last sentence, do UE games not run well on AM4 or AM5? Both cpus I was thinking about are AM5 so would this be an issue? 😬
Kotschcus_Domesticus@reddit
unreal engine 4 and 5 games. some just dont run well on pc regardless of cpu. AM5 is fine dont worry. I am on AM4 and no issues so far as well. both 7600 9600 are awesome cpus. dont worry.

Welcome to the hobby! This is actually a really well thought out first build and your instincts are good; let me break it down.
The 9600X + RTX 5070 combo is not a bottleneck concern at all. The 9600X is one of the most efficient gaming CPUs on the market right now, and at 1080p where CPU matters most it will feed the 5070 just fine. You'd only start seeing the CPU become a limiting factor in extremely CPU-heavy games like Microsoft Flight Simulator or heavily modded Skyrim, and even then it handles those respectably.
On the 5600X vs 9600X debate; you made the right call sticking with the 9600X. The stuttering concern you mentioned is real. The older 5600X has weaker single-core performance and less cache, and in fast-paced shooters like Apex Legends those 1% lows and micro-stutters are exactly where you feel the difference. The 9600X is noticeably smoother in practice.
For your 5-6 year longevity goal this setup is excellent. The RTX 5070 will handle 1080p effortlessly for years and when you eventually upgrade to 1440p it will transition perfectly without needing a GPU swap; that's actually where the 5070 truly shines. You essentially future-proofed two monitor generations in one purchase.
One suggestion to potentially save some money without hurting performance: if your motherboard choice is a high-end X870 board, consider dropping to a solid B650 board instead; something like the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk. AM5 B650 boards run the 9600X perfectly and you could save $60-90 USD that's better spent on a larger SSD or better RAM kit.
On RAM, make sure you're getting DDR5 6000MHz CL30 specifically. That's the sweet spot for Ryzen and makes a measurable difference in gaming over slower kits.
White themed builds are so clean, definitely go for it. The be quiet! Pure Loop 2 and Lian Li cases have some great white options that are popular in Poland too. Enjoy the build!
