When I had a microwave, that thing remained perfectly white. I refuse to own one now. The only thing a microwave was good for was making store bought popcorn, heating water or melting butter. Leaning on the oven for those things has brought me much dismay but thank god I don’t have to clean one out ever again

You could just cover your food when you microwave so you never have to clean up a mess. Works really well for me. I cover with a wet paper towel.
