Idk I’ve never heard that until now but they are quality lights and have been working on their American preference especially to introduce they’re new IR laser/illuminator to sell to the LE market. Their IR & LEO heads are insane too. Easily the best IR illuminator for the money imo.

Crane style is still an industry standard that modlite makes switches for. It's mainly for LAMs, and arguably better than SF light plugs which I've seen have connection flicker and prolapse before.

I think their IR stuff is they make mention of it and they have been trying to get government contracts, but they don’t seem to mention it on the LED lights…the Blazer 1 clearly says made in Taiwan and then the newer gens say made in USA, but I don’t see that listed under the specs, but I could be missing something. Make no mistake I have no problem with them I own several IR, LED & LEP and have for at least 2-3yrs now but they were never historically labeled as an American made company. Ppl typically didn’t seem to gravitate to them or Weltool for that reason. But I could be wrong.
