Same. I had the money to buy an SP5, but I could deck out an AP5 for the same price as a stock SP5. It's a no brainer if you're not an HK simp. The only work I did to it was replace the mag catch, put on larger rollers, and replace the LP which everyone does even on HKs when they throw on a can. All that for around $100. Far from the "Turkish trash" the guys with buyer's remorse will shout about.
Yup. When I saw distribution went out of stock I called around until I found an LGS with one and when they told me $2599, I made the trip down and haven’t seen one close to that since. Distributors still don’t have them in stock anywhere

The FDE (ral) variants have been averaging $2500 since they came out. They just don’t move at all. This is also the going rate for the Black variants. It’s not a deal at all for the FDE (ral) and if it was black it’d be an in stock alert posting more than anything.
I hate that these have gotten so pricey, but I have to say this is still my favorite gun to go shoot. Super smooth, 9mm is cheap and easily available. I just wish I’d bought a K when they were cheap…
