That BX Trigger is a nice upgrade, My wife got a 10/22 and after shooting her savage she did not like the 10/22 trigger. I dropped in a BX I got off ebay for 45 bucks and now she enjoys shooting it as much as her savage.

Yesterday they added a bunch in addition to the original 4 new models from a few months ago.
I’d bet money on a distributor exclusive with the new non-banded wood stock and threaded barrel soon enough.

Looks like they revamped a lot of older models, adding the BX trigger and rear cleaning port. The 10/22 lineup has grown considerably in the last couple of days.

You’re not missing much. All the academies are basing, their firearm merchandise off of the strictest state they are in which happens to be Illinois. So we’ve been seeing less and less modern sporting rifle there because their cucks.

I'm contemplating one of these, but I'm torn between this and a regular style striker fired 22 handgun like the TX22, P322, etc. My only gripe with the 22/45 is the low mag capacity where as other striker fired models are double stack.

Yes. Hate the 10 round capacity, but you can get 2 packs of extra magazines relatively cheap.
I have a TX22 Compact (also threaded) and it's fine. I just like the Mark IV more. It's got more heft to it.

Ruger filed a patent last year for a double stack higher capacity that has a Mark pistol in its diagram. So they could be bringing something to the market.

Only my limited experience, but every 32 handgun I have fired (have not fired ruger yet) has had serious issues with FTFs happening a lot. Heard the ruger does not have that issue. I would rather have less rounds, but have them all actually fire..and avoid tons of rounds with less than a third working. But that is just me.

MKIV with the aluminum lower is the way to go. It has a very nice weight and any upgrade you could dream is available to buy.

Market segmentation. You don't get the bottom rail. It's not a fun color. The trigger isn't a fun color. The barrel doesn't have fun accents.
This is utilitarian and $200 cheaper.

I always find it ironic that semi auto 22s are generally cheaper than bolt actions. Must be machine time savings not having to do locking lugs and such, and just using a mass and spring for blowback.

I've been considering getting a rugger .22 so I can doll it up with a body kit. Seems to be pretty popular with these.
