Land yachts just hit different when they’re laid out.

Can someone educate me? I thought this type of airbag was for load leveling and heavy weight support? Is this type of bag just for smooth ride, replacing a shock or spring completely, or in addition to some other suspension components.
I drive a truck and all the air lift I can find for it is heavy hauling related. But what if I want a cushy Cadillac ride, what type of air suspension am I looking at?!
They’re very versatile, you can use it for both purposes. In this case (and in mine), you remove the stock coil springs, bolt in brackets to mount the bag to in place of the spring, clearance the spring pocket with a torch if necessary, and add a shock absorber back into the system up front to smooth out oscillations. Then with a touch of a switch, you now have instantaneous ride height control and comfort adjustment.

Just....you know... exercise restraint. Those rides were commonplace in the junkyards because no one appreciated them the first time around.
Not collectable, but not exactly replaceable is what I'm saying.
I actually own one, and you’re certainly right to some degree. I’ll add to that by saying though it really seems most of them that did survive almost always seem to be in very good shape when I see them. They were built very well from the beginning, asides from around the soft top, and around the rear tail lights, it really seems these cars don’t even want to rust.
Mine was my grandmothers, and she bought it new, probably the most reliable car in the family, which is saying a lot as we don’t really have car troubles. I’m actually 95% sure the carb has never even been off the car since it left the factory which should be impossible, but if it has it would’ve been the early 90’s. Only real issue it ever had was it blew a radiator hose in the late 90’s, otherwise just maintenance, and it always starts.
