Do you think the result of this year's Olympics will expand hockey in the US?

I'm a Canadian so obviously I'm very unhappy about the results of this Olympics. Although - as a Flames fan I was pleased to see Gaudreau memorialized on the ice, and Matthew Tkachuk and Noah Hanifin winning gold. But I digress. Was the gold medal game a big deal down there to the point where it would fan the flames for hockey participation to expand? Or do you think that the sport's expensiveness will limit that expansion greatly?
