Firing pins of the hornets nest

here are some photos of the firing pin setup I made... the middle cartridge gets two firing pins just because my autism needed symmetry... on the first pic you can see the outline of the cartriges and where the firing pins would hit the rim

How do I join? What do I have to do?
GunnitRust@reddit
Post it. Use the title format “Winter Rust 2026: Title Here”
Example “Winter Rust 2026: Hornets’ Nest”

i imagine 3 of these in a nambu type 90 would be a cool concept
iNapkin66@reddit
Very cool, nice and simple.
I definitely wouldn't carry this loaded i guess. But otherwise would be a fun toy.

Yeah I'd imagine this is the opposite of "drop safe". Hell, if you throw it hard enough it's a directional grenade.
Personal_Rate4943@reddit
Would this be considered a DD if it was in 37mm or something smaller per say?
enfersijesais@reddit
Just rig up a tube you can drop a whole loaded taurus judge cylinder in.
stanky_one@reddit
Hey in the vid are you using the AC unity flare gun or an older HK one
sanfte8@reddit (OP)
Its the Heckler&Koch...
First I wanted to get one of those Chiappa ones because I think they look cool, but I asked a friend if he had one for sale and he had a H&K so I just bought this one

As a fan of the pieper "shotgun" that fires 7 22lr each with separate barrel, i love this, but I'd be worried about them causing havoc on the way down a smoothbore clumped together like this.

You are the maddest of lads and I'm so here for it. This is great work!
Prior-Champion65@reddit
Any plans to rifle it?
sanfte8@reddit (OP)
Maybe I'll build a new one thats longer with rifling... not sure yet

First picture looks like a plot device from Dune or something
