Flight Instructor Opportunities

Hello everyone I am a CFI and CFII seeking an opportunity to flight instruct in North Carolina and the surrounding states. I recently got my CFII and also currently working on the multi-engine add on. I was curious if anyone had any advice on any possible schools in mind that I could instruct at. I don’t really want to relocate but it seems that it is necessary right now.
Last thing, I am a cadet with a wholly owned regional and wondering if that holds any weight towards getting hired at a flight school.
Thank you for any words or advice dropped below.

Check out places that are pure training environments vs big 141 factories. I had a great time instructing at a smaller commercial pilot school where the whole focus was actually teaching, not just cranking hours. One like American Flyers at Conroe (North Houston) might be worth a look: steady student flow, solid ground school support, and they seemed pretty flexible about building a schedule that didn’t burn instructors out.

it might actually make it a detriment to be a cadet. . as that means that you have a more defined pathway to leave their school than someone who didnt. ..

Being a cadet at a WO has zero effect on applicant consideration for a CFI

Can’t be picky in this economy right now. Take what you can get. Apply everywhere. Email, phone call, walk ins, etc. if you have any connections use them too.
There are schools hiring, just lots and lots of applicants.
