Is it normal for 'work banter' to include older men making fun of the younger men's soft hands and calling them 'gorgeous'?

I am 24. I work as a KP currently in a pub kitchen. A new chef started (happens to be husband of the manager) and he's been attempting banter with just about everyone, but especially me because there are times when it's just me and him in the kitchen. He's taken to calling me gorgeous, and saying stuff like 'watch that pan it's hot. wouldn't want you to burn those soft hands.' but also 'watch this pan its hot, just like you' as he puts on a feminine voice. hes middle aged, acts and looks like a typical 'blokish' guy. dont know how else to describe him. At first it was like 'ha ha yeah' and i laughed it off. but now it's starting to creep me out a little bit. I'm working with him again later this week and I'm actually not looking forward to it. it makes me uncomfortable a little bit. this is normal right, just like an older guy attempting banter with a young guy?
