What are the Crime organizations in the UK(firms)?

I always wonder wonder who are the firms,people say the Albanians/caribbeans and white British gangs control the drug trade but nobody explains what the firms are.what is the backstory of these groups

Google: The Peaky Blinders. Very active firm led but a cool looking chap. Related to gypsies I believe. They took on all kinds of gangsters including the US Mafia. I think the leader even became an MP for Birmingham.

To be fair, there was a group called the Peaky Blinders from Birmingham between the 1880s and 1920s.

Varies a lot place to place, i.e. loyalist and republican paramilitaries in Northern Ireland, much less present anywhere else.
Places like Liverpool and Glasgow still have more old fashioned crime families.

The most recent to be taken down in Merseyside was the Huyton Firm, big into drugs and big into violence. When Encochat was cracked, their murder conspiracies and drug sales were exposed.
In London, the Hunt Syndicate was the biggest and most successful. David Hunt was able to plow his ill gotten gains into legitimate business and property. He's considered untouchable now.
