It's my understanding that Rare greed HAS come after them, but it hasn't been going well for them. They failed when trying to get a TRO or an injunction to keep Partisan from selling them and partisan has a patent pre-dating rare greed. I've only seen bits and pieces and I'm too much of a dipshit to understand anything if I dive into the actual documentation.

I’ve been researching this for the last little while since I’m interested. Based on what I’ve found so far, and I hate to say it, it looks like rare breeds safety works with this. As far as improving the selector itself, I’ve also read someone dremel the detent holes slightly to get a more positive click.

Interesting. I have the 3 Position RB ones, I got it second hand so no extra money went to those fucks, I would never give them a dime. I also hate to say it, I love it. It was flawless from install to function. It just GOES.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I want THIS to be a real alternative for drop in cassette style. I hope they improve that. I might get one of these if I can find a real deal and mess with it. I hope they're working on a 2.0 though. We need as many options as possible, as fast as possible.

I'm on board for this comparison as well. Trying to decide between the two. I believe that the cassette stye is going to be more likely to hold debris and fail at a lower round count than the arc though. Especially if you're adding a suppressor to the mix, which I think most will be doing at this point.

Fair, but they are also much easier to remove an clean as a counter. Pop the pins, clean it, lube it, pop back in with no finger smashing / pin cursing.

I have both, they're both good. Sometimes the ARC requires a little fitment, but nothing that sand paper or a Dremel can't do. If you're going to be shooting suppressed, dirty, I'd go with the ARC. If you want something that just drops in and comes with everything you need, go with this. You'll be happy with either.
