No. I have more than a handful of HTSS from different vendors. If I didn’t I would be buying three positions and FRTs like the Partisan.
I invested quickly and the prime quickly shifted from HTSS to other offerings.
SS are still great but this isn’t a BIN deal

Same. I still have 25 spare SS’s from different vendors, after giving several away as gifts. I’ve gotten into Kabutos(w/ 3 pos safety) a little more over the last few months though and I really like that after fitting, I can add them or remove them with no tools and no disassembly.
$100 is nuts. I priced some from China(like majority of recent vendors are doing) and got them down to $25 each for just the parts, and the more you get, the less they are. Obviously this doesn’t factor in labor/packaging/detent, but this was also one of the more high quality vendors from China(meaning they charge a premium). There is no reason Super Safety’s should be this high anymore, but I’ve seen vendors charging $200+ for them very recently too, and uninformed consumers are buying them.
I don’t care how somebody spends their money, but if they give it to Rare Greed they will be ridiculed relentlessly.

To prevent myself from spending hours upon hours researching and then to eventually freeze up and not purchase anything, can someone just recommend what’s the better platform, the better manufacturer/seller and what a good price is.

Assuming the lever lays on a 1/8" drill bit when it is placed on top of the lower... Dremel the underside of your upper where it is U-shaped at the back to increase the amount of space there. Super easy fix.
