That most likely depends on how the payment is setup. If it asks you to pick ffl at checkout then id pock the closest one, pay, make sure that ffl does NFA items, and chill if so. If not find ffl that does and teach out to vendor to change ffl

From what I understand it compares closer to an improved optimus 6 than a plain DL 5. Have seen a lot of good things about the optimus 6. I was aiming for something with good flash suppression and lower pressure.

I’m just narrowing things down one by one until I land on the right can. I thought I was set on the Lazarus 6, but at this point it’s really between the Laz 6 and the Fireteam 556. The Fireteam keeps pulling me in because the early videos and feedback look great, but I’m still debating whether I want to roll the dice on a newer company or stick with a legacy manufacturer that’s been doing this for a long time.

It’s nothing dramatic, I’m just trying to make a decision based on what I can actually find real info on. There isn’t much data or user feedback on the Rhodie 6 yet, and the few people I’ve talked to who own it alongside other cans said they prefer the others. On top of that, I can’t get a Rhodie tomorrow even if I wanted one, while the other options on my list are in stock and ready to go. If you’ve got more info or data on it compared to the others I’m looking at, I’m all ears.

I’ve built out a 10.5 that was overgassed to begin didn’t want to play around with adjustable blocks atm so I run that kak downvent with a geisselle h3 weight and braided spring. It works pretty well until you’re on the bench after a few mags it’s rough

Because the way to handle gas is with an SA bleed off AGB before it gets into the tube. Everything you mentioned manages the symptoms of overgassing instead of the cause

You submit prints for every NFA. If you have EFT prints you can reuse those. If not you have to do ink prints every time

I just went through this.
It starts like any other purchase. When you buy it fron the retailer, youll select and FFL/SOT to send it to.
The retailer with Form 3 (nothing needed from you) it to your FFL/SOT.
When it arrives at your SOT it can go one of 2 ways. The most common is silencer shop. This is where youll have to do stuff.
Youll need to make a silencer shop account and register all the info. Its simple and pretty self explanitory. Honestly, do this step when you purchase.
Youll then havw to go to a kiosk where youll do the finger printing. Again, simple.
Your FFL/SOT will then put in an order to get the transfer started through silencer shops and link it to your account.
Silencer shop will have you verify your info ans youll get an email for docusign to sign the Form 4 documents.
Once submitted, you wait for the ATF (hours to 30days) to approve it then go pick up your can.

You need an FFL who can do NFA. When you buy this, you send to your FFL. They’ll likely help you from there. Form 4, fingerprints, picture. Then you wait. You could consider a trust depending on your situation.
