It's a good option. I picked one up because I had a pin and weld surefire mount on a rifle I wanted to shoot suppressed. I'm using it on an OCL Polonium.
It's a chonky system. It will add more weight than something like a Rearden, but it's also reliable.

Basically the best of both worlds. Surefire makes suppressors for specific purposes, and while they aren't the quietest, are still good cans, just not always for the price. They do have the best muzzle devices and I use them on every.

If you're fully committed and going for a particular look, by all means keep going, but just know there are cheaper suppressors, that offer better performance, are lighter, and don't require ~$300 worth of muzzle devices and adapters to work.

My first suppressor was an RC2. Still have it, but migrated away from the Fast Attach SOCOM system on all but the one rifle. The SF system is heavy.

Any chance you're getting a good amount of carbon blowback on your handguard in the front? Getting a ton with the B&T adapter and don't know if it's just a flaw with the SF mounting system or the B&T adapter.
