AR9 stays in the safe, MP5K gets a Lot of use especially with SS. My KP-9 is a fucking vive and Bump fires like cray and goes to the range a lot. My friends Kuna is not a fun as the KP-9 and MP5, but still fun, it needs a SS to be more exciting.

My thing with Springfield is that they're testing the waters with U.S. pricing on foreign-manufacture kit with their label on it. They've been slinging Croatian-made stuff at a 'discount', the Kuna being one of them, could be why.
I wanted to pick up a Hellion, but have stalled on the decision because of this same concern, they want $1600 retail for brand recognition only, basically.

I haven't handled either (still waiting for my Kuna to come in), but I agree it with u/cpag0528 that it comes down to cost. From everything I've seen, the Extar EP9 is an great for the price. With the cost difference, you can put that into an optic and more ammo. The Kuna is better, but if it is $500 better is up to the individual.

The real question is whether you care about the extra $500 or so. IMO the Kuna feels significantly better if the $500 isn't a big deal to you.

Yeah. But I’d make an argument that they aren’t even comparable to one another. Extar is a nice budget option for sure but feels cheap compared to the kuna.

It is. Its very uncomfortable. Better to buy the non-braced version and get your own. SB Tactical makes comfortable braces, IMO. Plus they use a fairly stout sort of rubberized polymer that should absorb a little bit of recoil.
