Jack Palance is legendary.
I once got this DVD set with a bunch of random Spaghetti Westerns. He was the bad guy in half of them. đ
And let's not forget Young Guns.
graveybrains@reddit
I'm pretty sure I gave my dad a kidsarefuckingstupid moment when I was 7 or 8 when he had to explain to me that his name isn't Ripley. đ
hugekins@reddit
His Skin Bracer commercials were certainly a hoot.
TalkingRaccoon@reddit
I was obsessed with that show
graveybrains@reddit
Right? I loved that shit when I was little.
DBE113301@reddit
Reminded me of this.
Holofernes_Head@reddit
Jack Palance was the meanest sumbitch who ever lived. Or at least he played the meanest sumbitch enough times to make me believe it.
Vian_Ostheusen@reddit
"i crap bigger'n you" will do that
thewayshesaidLA@reddit
I endlessly used to watch reruns of the Ripleyâs Believe It or Not show that he hosted.
tweetyonetwothree@reddit
Love him! Fun movie !
Pred-Al1en@reddit
Hah ha. I knew the man. Lived up in the snow of Bear Valley, Ca. He had a four story snow mobile shed that had a rotating elevator with 10 different snowmobiles in it so he could pick one at random to ride. Lol
Super nice guy to everyone in town.
-mudflaps-@reddit
If it's not Tango it's Cash, and if it's not Cash it's Tango.
SanPadrigo@reddit
Iâm that person who likes City Slickers II: The Legend of Curlyâs Gold more than City Slickers.
rangeghost@reddit
Me too. Adding Jon Lovitz was a good move.
johnb300m@reddit
âSo anytime youâre going up, youâre going north?â âYeah.â
Illustrious-Lead-960@reddit
Is it me or did they do a âpet detectiveâ joke with himself right around the time Ace Ventura would have been screenwritten?
PinotFerret@reddit
I saw this one first, loved it, watched it repeatedly. Never bothered to watch the first one!
BobEvansBirthdayClub@reddit
I wore out my VHS copy of City Slickers II. I loved the cartoon at the beginning.
djsynrgy@reddit
I miss the insanely animated opening credits of totally random movies. Forgot all about it until about two weeks ago when I introduced my kid to Honey I Shrunk The Kids.
(And yes, I fulfilled my obligatory whining about how they don't make movies like this anymore.)
Illustrious-Lead-960@reddit
No shame in that.
This is the business weâve chosen!
Illustrious-Lead-960@reddit
It played on TV so often that we got Stockholm Syndrome.
JazzlikeAd1555@reddit
Canât say âYouâre my number one guyâ without doing the nickelson impression from Batman
ELLLI0TTT@reddit
Why do I keep seeing the guy from Phantasm when I see this pic???
Ill_GottenGains@reddit
"Don't tell my kids I died taking a shit."
LostSailor25@reddit
âHi Curly, kill anyone today?â
peophole@reddit
Try not to piss him off
Ok-Season7854@reddit
Curly likes redheads
noonesaidityet@reddit
City Slickers 2 pulled the Landfill twist before the Landfill twist.
M_Me_Meteo@reddit
Genuine GenX v Xennial test.
If you hear
"Popular Movie Title 2:..."
and you don't say "The Search for Curly's Gold" then I can't help you.
Vian_Ostheusen@reddit
Really? cuz "Secret of the Ooze" is legit.....but also what answer puts you in what gen???
M_Me_Meteo@reddit
Secret of the ooze checks out. So long as it's not "Electric Boogaloo".
Vian_Ostheusen@reddit
i suppose that would be posery
TrinityKilla82@reddit
I figured out that one thing. Itâs a finger in your ass. Youâre welcome.đ€Ł
RobleyTheron@reddit
Miss you Curly!
JHerbY2K@reddit
He was the Calgary Stampede parade marshal in 1996 or so. I was in the band and he winked at me!
Simple_Occasion_7213@reddit
Wait, thatâs not Duke?..
Fort362@reddit
I will say this image right here and the sprach he gave about that âone thingâ has been what has kept me sober for the last seven years and some months. Just finding that one thing to keep you going.
Adrasteia-One@reddit
Cheers man, that's awesome. His words were really powerful, and I'm glad for the reminder, too.
Fort362@reddit
Thanks! One day and one thing!
Key_Butterscotch5326@reddit
"Day ain't over yet..." I use this line to answer someone if/when they ask, "Did you do ___ today?"
Powermac8500@reddit
My kids have not seen the movie, but they know this scene and the line, because itâs my favorite.
ZagiFlyer@reddit
"You kill anyone yet today Curly?"
"Day ain't over yet."
Big_Pound1262@reddit
I still say that and totally forgot where I picked it up haha
Vian_Ostheusen@reddit

âTwo hundred ninety five point eight- thatâs too hot.â
lowteq@reddit

"That one thing"
No_Influence_9389@reddit
Anyone here found their "one thing?"
E-2theRescue@reddit
I have.
But now it's quickly becoming illegal because of politics (transgender).
Vian_Ostheusen@reddit
still looking...but def Curly put me on the path so...credit where credits due
Bud72@reddit
He was fantastic in the first Burton Batman movie, such a great âclassic mobsterâ to Nicholsonâs unhinged goon Joker.

platypus_farmer42@reddit
At least once a month I think about how popular this movie was when it came out and yet today I NEVER hear it referenced. This is the first time Iâve seen it or heard it referenced in literal decades.
