As far as “quick attach” the MOB sold with their plan B mount is called the QD. Its a bit slower than tri-lug, but it’s much quicker than something like direct thread.

The trilug is one of the few ways to get a suppressor to sit flush without a gap so, for aesthetics, it’s favored.
There are recessed mount muzzle devices and hub adapters that resolve this problem (and let you use Plan B or direct thread), which is what I plan to do, no pun intended.

Higher pitch and back pressure. More smoke. Lighter and shorter though. Especially if you use a lighter tri-lug adapter, like the Resilient Gen 2 titanium one. It sounds almost identical to my Obsidian 9. The MOB, is simply without peer, when it comes to sound.

When it is caused by projectiles touching the baffles / endcap -- POI and keyholing occurs.
Its more than just adjusting sights - sometimes it is unusable; also the timing of the can changes POI, better mark your can so that you always attach it to tri-lug the same way.
All just an FYI --- learn from my mistakes ( I was using HK parts, not some random crap ).

Yeah, but I wouldn't recommend them right now. They took forever to ship my lower, screwed people who supported them through ARC-fire V1 launch, improved V2 ARC isn't out yet, but the product is solid. I'm just salty about the customer service.
There are some drop-in FRTs coming that work with the stock lower, hold off for those for the vibes alone.

A lot of people are waiting well past their quoted time. And anyone who ordered a G$ trigger is now waiting for an extremely long time. Not sure about other ppl but when I got mine it was slapped together very quickly, and most screws were loose. The ARC fire selector I order on mine was so loose it worked itself almost apart after one mag.
QC is not up to what I expected for such an expensive lower.

No trilug, but I direct thread a Cat Mob on it that doesn't move around to other hosts, so it works for me. I'll probably SD conversion the barrel at some point (to run cheap 119gr subsonic), so barrel is going in a parts bin anyways.

Its honestly more of a vibes thing. No one is paying good-great AR9/Kuna/Stribog prices, or worse still real H&K prices on a MP5 because of optimization. Tri-lug is objectively not the best way to mount a can but it is convenient and its cool to put a suppressor on something with just a "flick of the wrist".

Yeah, I get that the original (and it’s clones) are a vibe, but I do doubt that the MP5 is the best pcc out there. I guess that’s highly controversial and an opinionated take. It all goes back to cost vs performance. I really like the way the B&T GHM9 looks, but I haven’t done any research. Plus it’s just a “toy” compared to some other guns in my safe that serve a specific purpose.

It's more secure than direct thread if your mount is good. The lugs lock it in place so you don't have to worry about it walking off like if it was direct threaded. Downside is that it add more mass to the suppressor. MP5 variants are also compact overall, so it's nice just tossing it on or off to throw the whole package into a bag without having to screw it off and then dick around with a thread protector.
Most importantly though, it looks cool.

I would argue the exact opposite. There is a lot of tolerance issues that can happen with tri lugs, or bad indexing.
Direct thread is easily “better”, but tri lug is a MP5 staple.

I agree. That's why I put in the caveat about how well it mounts. They can be a bit wobbly and sometimes it just doesn't play nicely with the spring and lugs. I have a Sub9 pending and even with a bixler mount I am worried about how tight Rugged tend to make their endcap tolerances. Direct thread is inherently overall just better since it just works 99% of the time, the first time, and pretty much 100% all times after. Tri-lug when it works though, it works very well.

My guess is LT stands for light, as in sold stripped down. I think Atlantic is tossing in a bunch of extras no one buys. The T94 probably refers to the HK94, the 16" barrel version. MKE might make them for other markets and they just hack the barrel in half, which would explain the absence of a built in tri-lug.

Higher pitch and back pressure. More smoke. Lighter and shorter though. Especially if you use a lighter tri-lug adapter, like the Resilient Gen 2 titanium one. It sounds almost identical to my Obsidian 9. The MOB, is simply without peer, when it comes to sound.

My 2 LT's are the only AP5's that have given me trouble. Bolts getting stuck in rear, loose mag wells, feeding issues etc. looking back I regret paying $880 for them.

I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t picky still. It’s worth mentioning it took discovering that hk mags and the right kind of 124gr cleared up every issue now it runs great. I might be lucky to have gotten 150gr to run so well but who knows.
That’s nice your other ones don’t have any compatibility issues between ammo and mags it’s annoying having to hunt for my LTs favorite 124gr.

No and I’ll trigger trilug bros by saying this but that is such a plus that it’s just direct thread. With the wolfman recessed mount you are able to get a Plan B muzzle device all way to the shoulder. So now it looks flush and I can run my r9 on my 300 blk or 556 or 308 which I have muzzle devices for already.
