Brooo what am i doing wrong i can’t get the bike to connect to the app at all!! No errors or anything jst “bluetooth connection timing out over and over again

Update to prior conversation - discussion with vendor via Amazon customer service:
“Please download the "nRF connect for mobile" app from the App Store. After powering on your bicycle, open the nRF app. On the second page of nRF, find the Bluetooth name corresponding to your bicycle and connect. Upload the following code: 40542B4C00414E5453542D52303034B1. After uploading, wait for the process to complete, then power on your bicycle again. After the process is complete, try restarting the bike several times, and also turn your phone's Bluetooth off and on again. Finally, you will see that the correct Bluetooth name for your bicycle is TST-R004, and you will be able to connect to the Orbital Sports app normally.”
Have not tried yet.

Hello any updates this shit don’t work I’m having the same problem as you it’s really stupid I wanna unlock it but it won’t connect or do it manually I only have a p1 or p2 no p3

Horrible design and horrible app but here is a work around.
With the battery on but the screen off, hold in the left brake and both the up and down buttons at the same time. While holding all 3, turn on the power to the screen. Now release all buttons. (Notice the blinking line now, new mode available) Hold up and down to get into the settings mode. Press headlight button until you see P3. Start peddling to lock it in because there is no save button.

Same. No P3. App won’t connect - iOS. Uninstalled reinstalled. Going to try to disconnect power and re-do battery.

There is a way to manually unlock it. I did it when the app wouldn't work.

Are you connecting it to unlock it? Or for a different reason? I never bothered to connect the app, just unlocked it using the controls.

When I change via display to P3 and 1 it stays at kmph and reverts back to P1. It won’t save the P3 setting. Any suggestions?

I haven’t tried in a while but lyk tdy if some miracle happens, i email customer support but they told me they need a screen shot of my receipt and never got back with me

I don't trust anything that requires an app for functionality that shouldn't need it. Even when they work, they never get maintained and you can't rely on them. Plus a lot of them are really sketchy.
