Uhh, all of them? These days you cant throw a rock without hitting a high rise mega carrier truck. The only guys that dont have the tallest sleepers are the flatbed and tanker carriers.

But most do. Even then, the brackets are still there. Buy a sheet of plywood and put it down, thats about all the top bunk is usually made up of anyways, besides the stuffing.

Considering the average driver, I would hope its more than just a sheet of plywood. You need an extra layer of load bearing paint. Tbh never been issued a double bunk truck till I worked for some small outfit out of fargo, and that was meant for a team who backed out.

I drove from Werner and Rhoel and when I was OTR doubles were only for teams no matter the company.

I brought up a joke. Surprised you didnt latch onto that. Seems like there isnt much you latched onto in the first place, but im speculating. I actually love snickers, youre probably one of those weird guys that obsesses about other people licking the veiny part. Youre probably the reason they put chairs in hotel rooms if youre picking companies based on wether there's a top bed or not.

Even then, you can still get a double bunk in a mid roof. All of Melton’s trucks are mid roof double bunks

My company only has trucks with two bunks. Most of us use it for storage. I’ve never been in a truck that didn’t hav two beds. I’ve only been in freight liners and they have always been the team sleeper variety

Glad to see they've become popular in the last 10 years. When I was OTR nobody had doubles unless you were team or a trainer. Going back OTR and want to use it for storage since I plan to live in the truck full time and build up my retirement.

If you get a choice between a (newer) Freightliner or a KW, snag the KW. The top bunk had a wooden base, with square edges. I was able to ratchet strap down 2 sets of storage drawers (held drawers closed with bungee cords) and everything was very organized. Freightliners have some weird bowl type shaped top bunk, which minimizes the storage to the edges, and makes things liable to tip over. (I hate.)
