GT moved a good while back and their big Pflugerville store is blocks away from where my parents house is. It's one of my favorite shops to visit now but I didn't like it the first time I went to the new store. It felt like I was getting completely ignored and stared down simultaneously. However once I went with my dad and he introduced me to the sales guys he usually deals with, I became a regular customer. They have fun local sales events with a lot of cool Glock swag and really nice raffle giveaways. They have great police ammo turn in deals sometimes and my favorite part is their clearance section, especially when the tack on additional seasonal discounts.
I say all of this because I want people not local to like and enjoy that store also. The police turn in deals are solid ...but holy hell do they have a horrible website. It seems like it's never actually updated, the gun listings are always lackluster at best and they never put up their used stuff since it tends to move pretty fast in store. They've told me before that the used guns aren't as big of a priority and really just bring people in the door - their bread and butter is selling new Glocks, AR's and the typical cop stuff. I don't even bother with the website other than finding the occasional clearance deals.
I bought all of my police turn in Glocks in person so I do get to cherry pick amongst usually quite a few options. My Glock 17 from them has Atlanta PD etchings on the slide so it probably has some bodies on it...
They had a bunch of 17's from the A&M police department that initially were selling at the standard $300ish range...until a bunch of good ol A&M boys found out and pushed the prices sky high. I was told they listed a few on GunBroker and they sold for like 4x what they usually go for!
Also they tend to hold back the best used stuff, especially the used ARs/rifles, for their big sales events. Otherwise it can be slim pickings at times.
I hope you all enjoyed my GT rant. Awesome shop, horrible website.

The Atlanta police force is over 2000 cops and there were 7 fatal shootings by police in 2025
Assuming similar numbers for whichever year your pistol came from, and that every single cop carries a Glock, the odds of that are 0.035%
To really calculate it, I suppose we'd need to factor in the service lifetime of the pistol (most likely greater than one year) and the full count of fatal shootings for that time period, but we don't even know what percentage of the police force carries a Glock -- and if it's not 100% then I bet the true probability ends up being even slimmer
