I have one for Glock and one for M&P and use them probably 1/3 of the time I dry fire. I like them a lot.
If you are using the MantisX, these pair very well with that system.
Is it your exact trigger pull? No. But is it way more fun to practice transitions and shooting stage-realistic round counts? Absolutely.
Do you absolutely need one? No. But if you can spare the funds is it worth getting one? I think so.

I tried a DryFireMag for the M&P and did not like it. I ended up getting a Taurus G3 for $200 and a laser cartridge for $20 so now I can nearly infinitely dry fire without having to rack the slide and I have the positive feedback of the laser. All in, it's cheaper than a SIRT pistol, pllus it is an extra gun if it comes down to it.

The Taurus G2/G3 has restrike so the firing pin hits the laser cartridge every time the trigger is pulled. The trigger itself is not great, but I figure if I get really good with a bad trigger then that should translate easily to a better trigger.

When I saw these for the first time at shot show I instantly thought about being able to dryfire transition drills, and not having to start bad muscle memory when doing draw to fires. I think its one of those tools that you can introduce that makes life much easier and helps you to dryfire and time things that you normally couldnt, like transitions.

I remember hearing 10-15 years ago about a cop who was killed in a shootout, and investigators couldn't figure out why he'd emptied half the rounds in his mag, unfired, onto the ground. They later figured out that in that adrenaline-and-instinct situation he'd reverted to his dry fire training that involved racking the slide after every trigger pull to reset the striker.

I use a laser training bullet that requires you to rack the slide everytime.
Theoretically, They also sell Laser Training devices, that fire upon the sound of the striker/hammer .
Would this work with the Second Type of Laser training device ?

yes, sorry you do have to talk to them but you can tell them what you want and they make the adjustment for you. also to be fair, Customer Service is hard on the part of the store. You can do everything in your power to cover your bases and folks still unhappy. We take black eyes repeatedly cause a package got stolen or it got lost in delivery like we're personally driving the shit we sell on a pillow. but yeah, saving a $1 on route we hear too on some stores, so I feel you. keep up the good work!

let me clarify. Of course we replace any and all packages that are lost in transit. What I'm trying to say is that many customers will give poor reviews to the seller when an issue happens in transit while in the hands of the carrier, which we have zero control over. All we can do is reship or refund. Route makes that process way easier on the buyer and seller.

Hey Gundeals!
I am running a DryFireMag sale because the one from last post will be in TOMORROW. That means all outstanding orders will be shipped out tomorrow afternoon.
These did pretty well last time so I thought id run them again, I bought quite a bit to hold as inventory, so I can hopefully get several orders out much faster. If these continue to do well it will probably end up being a product line that I stock super frequently.
For thee people asking about the shot timers: I plan on running another deal here soon, I just cannot keep up with yalls demand. I place a bulk order, you guys buy them all up. Essentially it’s just to get your trigger feel as close to your regular one as possible. If you think it’s a little too light, stiffen it up. Not light enough, lighten it.
Not really a black and white thing it’s just to fine tune it to get it exactly how you want it
