My only biggest concern. I wouldn't have the SS on a gun I'd keep loaded at home, so it's not quite as big of a deal since the only time it would be loaded is when the barrel is pointing down range. But still, a safety that is easily disengaged (or engaged) gives me pause.
The lever style FRT are like 3x the cost, though.

The gen2 isn’t actually out yet but will be “soon”.
45/90 lever instead of 90/180. I think there’s some other minor changes like lever texture and such, but the big one is the throw angles.

New version unlocked 45/90 and more lever options. Gen 1 is 90/180 and you can get it think stock levers or buy additional milspec levers and thats it. Gen 2 is not compatible with gen 1. Both should functionally be the same.
I have gen 1 and more gen 1 on the way, i prefer commonality between my guns as much as i would like short throw, maybe i’ll switch both out down the line but i dont care that much.
