If you go into it with a mindset of taking the gasblock off, its a decent deal still. But with the gasblock they have on there, i think 7 in handguard is the largest that will fit. Some people have had success using one of the Midwest industries suppressor ready hg's i think. They are wide enough to slip over the gasblock, but double check that.

You might not be a fan of the switchblock and have to buy a different gas block? I bought the 16” chf recon barrel but their stainless barrels are some of if not the best in the game. My 14.7 infidel barrel has a way sub MOA at 100 yards even with the larger kx5 on the front.

You need to either buy a Noveske rail for one or find a rail that has a gap for a a2 front sight. For mine it might end of being a rail with dremel that goes brrr.

A separate bolt, no carrier, that they ship with the barrel. Headspaced simply means they will throw a gauge in the chamber and ensure the bolt passes specification.
Some people like the peace of mind. Any quality BCG you use with this should also pass a go and no-go gauge check
