Nice, looks like PSA finally dropped the 7.62x39 version people were asking for. Gen 1 usually just means earlier production, so maybe fewer updates or tweaks, and no window just means no round count view. Still worth checking reviews to see if there were any early issues before grabbing a stack.

If you ever find yourself surrounded by professional soldiers and you have a habit of repeatedly dropping your mags on concrete from a height of 4+ feet, then crawling through mud a few meters before submerging yourself in water for a while before allowing your mags and gun to be run over by a convoy of pickup trucks. Yeah, these mags are likely not going to be the best.
But for everyone else whose guns get 99.99999% use at the range, these have worked fine for me. I'm unsure if I'd leave them loaded long term and the springs are likely inferior to actual surplus but for $4? I'll enjoy these at the range or just use them for trade fodder down the road. Nothing spices up a deal like saying "and I'll toss in some extra mags".

They are fine for range use Even PMAGs are fine for the same thing.
I DID have a mag vomit all 30 rounds violently when it dropped from my pouch onto compacted dirt while running drills. I pretty much only run steel now when doing anything more than just shooting.

They aren't go-to-war mags but they're fine for range use. The Zinc used on the lugs is soft and the plastic isn't all that sturdy. I'm pretty sure the only time I've had a mag misfeed without being visibly damaged was from one of these. But for $4 it is fine range fodder.
