If you were born an old soul how has that been for you and how is it now?

When I was in my teens my idea of a good time was knitting to a cosy murder mystery and now two decades later that idea is unchanged, despite the best efforts of my twenties to convince me that anything about nightclubs was fun.
I also mainly hung out with my parents so I ended up with old references - and by that I don’t mean anything cool like classic rock, rather mostly just repeating 20-year-old advert catchphrases that made people go ‘eh?’ (Meet Dave, he swims like a fish).
Always been handy for pub quizzes though.
If there are other old souls here how have you found that compared to how our society conceptualises ideas like youth, or ‘cool’, and how is that for you now?
