Has anyone stored green pumpkin seeds long term?

I want to buy a bulk 50 lbs bag from azure right now but I want to be sure that the seeds can last long term. Well at least 5 years. I did some quick googling and it's saying 3 months at Best but it's those ones that look like creamy white. I'm talking about the green ones. I just found out I could use these seeds as an excellent replacement for the main ingredient in a cultural dish

Airtight containers in a deep freezer and they’ll last pretty much indefinitely. Mylar bags or mason jars with oxygen absorbers in a climate controlled pantry or closet with minimal exposure to light they’ll last maybe 12 months before they start to taste rancid, a bit longer if they were super fresh when you bought them.

Why do you need 50 pounds of an item to lay for five years? You can buy smaller quantities regularly. Not everything needs to be a peel and nuts/seeds are an item that doesn’t keep well unless in a freezer.

Just wanted to store it like I store my rice, beans and flour. I ask because in the case of shtf if I don't have access to it anymore I can trust it to last me a while.

Yeah, I think everybody needs a full on non-defrosting freezer.
