Are there any Group Chats for UK Accountants?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to connect with other accounting professionals in the UK and was wondering if there are any active WhatsApp groups out there for people in the industry.
A bit about me: I'm ACCA qualified with 3 years of experience in audit, based in London. I'm keen to network, share insights, and stay connected with like-minded professionals across the UK.
If you're part of a group or know of any worth joining, I'd really appreciate a heads up feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.
Thanks in advance!

Did you find any?

Fair question. Mainly looking to connect with other UK accountants to share experiences around career progression, industry trends, software, and general challenges in practice or industry. Nothing secretive - just professional peer networking.

Anyone else thinking of Father Ted, and the "priests only" premium rate chat line?

I feel accountants in general is maybe a bit too vague to be useful. All I can really do as an 9 year experience ACCA qualified, finance business partner/management accountant is complain about industry specific problems and how bad Oracle is. I have zero insights/interest in audit or accounting standards etc. Are you mainly interested in trying to find new job opportunities?

No just network with people in the industry! It's not that bad come on

What does networking even mean in this context though?
What do you want to actually discuss with other accountants?

The first rule of accountant chat is you do not talk about accountant chat. The second rule of accountant chat is YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT ACCOUNTAN…. Oh no hang on, the second rule is no jokes about double entry bookkeeping.

CIMA qualified with just over a year post qualification experience here. I’d be keen to join if there was one too.
