No. Tech is the one thing that is the same or more expensive than the us.

Im in Taiwan and can tell you for certain, nope. The best deal is that Microcenter one. DDR5 32GB is around 13000k here (400-450 USD) and GPU prices are always high. 45k to 55k for 5080, 30-35k for 5070 ti, 20-25k for 5070. USD to NTD is around 32:1 now.

Nope. Corporate groups with suitcases of cash have already been everywhere. They've literally been driven to such a state that they're going from store to store, buying up whatever's already on the market.

Components shockingly aren’t always cheaper in Asia and generally can be more expensive. Even with the really weak yen I doubt you’d find any deals in Japan since they’re still at what seems to be 60% markup from what I see at micro center. Taiwan seems to be pretty 1:1 if not more expensive. Mainland is the same, there are deals in the electronic markets but they’re for volume from a vendor. Any shop selling single units is effectively a retail store with retail pricing.

From memory GPU prices in Japan last year even with a severely undervalued Yen weren't great.
Its worth exploring though if you're there just maybe try outside Akihabara / Tokyo.

I guess that depends on how much they cost in your local market.

They cost too much. USA

You're better off just driving to a Microcenter.

There aren’t any in the PNW

But I'd also caution, you probably won't get the best deals unless you are fluent in Mandarin.
There's probably a couple of Youtubers you can check out who have visited.
Also depending on which components you want, consider shipping costs.
