Is litter getting worse?

Hi, I retired early, in my 40s, about 15yrs ago, so as I could spend time doing voluntary litter picking in my area. Litter has got worse in my area by at least 15% in the last 5yrs, (a fact I can support with spreadsheets, because I count each item and log the type of litter). There is no indication whatsoever that the litter then, or now, has anything to do with any culture whatsoever other than mainly 'white British'. Indeed, the worst local hotspots for local youths dropping their waste, and the local houses tipping their excess bags of waste, are *exactly* the same areas which are almost exclusively 'white' and the roads are the ones now draped in nationalist flags. Why the correlation? I have no idea and cannot say. I simply rely on what the facts and data show, and not what I feel based upon emotion or gut feel, (let alone what the right-wing echo-chambers may suggest). The only two things I can state with factual evidence are: (1) littering is getting worse in the areas around my home. Specifically 15% worse over 5yrs based upon quantity of discarded cans, bottles, sweet wrappers and vapes. (2) the worst areas for litter are also those that have high levels of anti-social areas and which are also exclusively "white British" social housing/ex social housing with higher than average rates of low income. I'd love to know what factual evidence you have to support your claim that immigrants are causing a litter issue.
