We also called it kill the man as in kill the man with the ball. If someone threw you the ball you had to accept and hold it for 20 Mississippis. In that time you ran your ass off and everyone else basically tried to catch and beat the shit out of you. If you evaded capture for the full count you threw it to your victim and the cycle started over.

We had a neighbor just like this! One time I fell roller skating and was sitting on her lawn near the edge of the sidewalk crying with a bleeding knee and she threatened to call the cops. I was like seven. These people got their karma every halloween when they didn't pass out candy and turned all their lights out. They got lots of burning bags of dog shit on their porch and eggs thrown at their house.

Thanks to the Ring, I don't even answer the door anymore. Right now, we're in election season with candidates going door to door. We've had both sheriff candidates knock in the past week. Pretty sure the shotgun wouldn't have worked out well for that one.

True. I would have a ring if I could afford it. Plus my tiny entry way doesn't help. Dunno where I would put it with the sun always on it. I have had two candidates already come up to my door. Laughed at one and shut my door on the other. I do want a ring doorbell but just not sure if it can survive the hot summer sun.

I lived in a rural area and rode my neighbor's go-kart all over the place. I was always riding around where I wasn't supposed to, getting yelled at constantly. Sure wish I could get that "i don't care" mentality back. But then I'd probably be in prison. Lol. Nowadays, i don't even look out the front window to see my idiot neighbors letting their dog shit on my lawn. I don't want to micromanage those nitwits and yell at people. My blood pressure would go up to 200/100.

That's what I keep grumbling to myself every time I walk by a house in our neighborhood with security cameras that announce their presence. "You are under surveillance", "hello, you are being recorded", "tweet tweet". Like stfu I'm on the damn sidewalk. There's one particular a row of houses I have to avoid by crossing the street.

basically anarchist rugby - the object is to tackle whoever is holding the ball; and if you have the ball try to avoid being tackled. If you were a big, strong kid - STQ was probably fun and if you weren't it was scary and very likely you were going to be targetted.

Yeah, I'm sure that's where the seed of the idea. It was ALWAYS the cranky person's house that was the best for TV Tag, or was behind home plate, etc etc. "If that ball goes on my property one more time I'm keeping it!" Such fucking grouches. Who looks at kids playing and is like, "I hate that, I need to stop that"?
