What’s the best advice you have on saving/investing money as a 20 year old?

Hi I’m 19 years old turning 20 soon and work in the fitness industry. I do okay for myself but have decided I need to change the way I’m spending my money and thought saving/investing will be the best thing to do instead. My outgoings are £650PM this covers car insurance, bills, rent and food. I normally pay for this and then spend the rest of my money on stupid stuff and have had enough doing it! Anyone with some good advice on where to put my money would be massively appreciated as all the research I have done myself counter each other. Happy to answer any other questions you have to ask I was not to sure on how much detail to put into this post as don’t normally do it. Many thanks in advance🙂
