I don’t trust tulsi Gabbard anymore

Well the title says a lot of it I don’t trust tulsi anymore, she switched her whole political party and ideology she is not the woman I supported in 2020 and I don’t think she can ever rebuild that trust
ArcFault@reddit
It took you this long? LMFAO. You people are deeply unserious.
Few-Reality-5320@reddit
Pretend to be anti war, joined a ministration that is the most war hungry ever.
late_warmonger@reddit
Nobody should trust her... Apparently she's done something so gravely wrong they no one knows how to handle it and they feel like it's so bad and classified they can't brief congress on it..

Which organization do you think she got on the wrong side of? The DOJ and National Intelligence Agencies are such bastions of integrity, I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it forthwith!
joemamallama@reddit
Why would she hide that report? And why would she be taking a call with someone associated with foreign intelligence?
Innocent people don’t hide things like that.
Lost_Basis_1224@reddit
The propaganda machine does great work!

She defected to China as far as I can tell.
No-Guard-7003@reddit
What brought you to this point?
cesarlast956@reddit
She’s so sexy she has my vote for whatever
BlueberryStatus9000@reddit (OP)
She badddddd :’)
Fractoman@reddit
If you think your political party determines your principles then you don't have any.
romremsyl@reddit
We're talking about results, not parties and personalities. The results speak for themselves if you're not biased.
Fractoman@reddit
Using the military is not necessarily the same as entering militaristic quagmires that put us in untenable positions working against cultural values that don't align with the populace we're occupying. Trying to spread democracy to a deeply Islamic fundamentalist state was beyond moronic and will never happen without serious cultural evolution in the area.
Spending 8 hours to remove a despot from power and allow democratically elected leaders to take control of a populace yearning for freedom and liberty is quite another story altogether. Tulsi may have spoken against regime change but when a dictator causes the largest refugee crisis in modern times right on the doorstep of the largest superpower in the world, not taking action is worse than effecting change for people who want the help.
SeasonsGone@reddit
So why not regime change elsewhere? Plenty of places still meet the criteria you mention
Fractoman@reddit
There's a democratically elected leader of Venezuela in exile in Spain. The issue at this point is the web of Maduro allied bureaucrats that are still in positions of power. And even so, we're not occupying Venezuela like we did with Afghanistan or Iraq.
The Venezuelan people celebrated his removal, millions of people abroad, displaced by his socialist driven refugee crisis. Maduro is guilty of sexual torture of political prisoners, among a litany of other civil rights violations. He ignored the results of a democratic election (something I'm frankly surprised wasn't fixed to begin with, it was only done after the fact). He installed himself as dictator of Venezuela and allowed for terrorist and narco operations to operate unchecked in his country.
If the US could prevent these kinds of civil rights offenses by the forced removal of despotic autocrats I'm frankly all for it. Just so long as the people that reside in that country actively want an authoritarian religious ethnostate to rule over them, like the Afghans and Iraqis.
paramedicmike22@reddit
Dude….they did it for the oil. Trump was straight up honest when he said that they have resources that we want. Only a moron would trust all of the other nonsense about this situation.
Fractoman@reddit
There can be more than one reason for militaristic action, a financial incentive as well as humanitarian just makes it feasible and moral. Many of the refineries in the southern US were geared towards Venezuelan oil refining and had been running for a long time before Maduro got into office and obliterated the numbers of barrels being produced in the country.
This meant the economy of Venezuela suffered, inflation soared, and families that were making 2-4k per month now were making less than half of that. If all the US gets out of the return of a democratically elected government in Venezuela is normalized petrochemical trade then all the better for both economies.
We're also ignoring the fact that by appropriating those petrochemicals going to Russia, we've kneecapped Putin's efforts in Ukraine. A large portion of the oil imported into Russia comes from Venezuela. They have a good amount of Russian production but it's certainly not inconsequential to the war effort that this trade has been shut down by the US. This incentivizes the end of Russian aggression and for Putin to back off.
paramedicmike22@reddit
It’s incredible that you still think Trump is standing up to Trump. He campaigned on ending that conflict on day one and has made no real efforts to actually do it. His “peace plan” was to give Putin what he wants. That’s not standing up to him whatsoever.
Those oil companies are there to make money, not to be humanitarians. If you think they aren’t going to sell to Russia, you are sorely mistaken.
Fractoman@reddit
US sanctions on Russia prevent domestic corporations from selling oil to Russia. So I'm not sure what made you think that would happen ever. But I guess I shouldn't expect you to know much of anything.
juan_samuel@reddit
That's very true, but she's done plenty to show she's betrayed her principles without talking about the political party which she's affiliated.
SeaBass1898@reddit
I remember really liking her, I believed her rhetoric about being anti-war.
What a disappointment she's turned out to be
Lost_Basis_1224@reddit
Why? Because the liberal media tells you to think that way? Besides leaving the corrupt Democratic Party, what else do you have against her?
felixthewug_03@reddit
How are people like you this fucking stupid, holy christ.
SeaBass1898@reddit
“Why? Because the liberal media tells you to think that way?“
Fucking lmao 😹
Sure it’s not the fact that she completely backed off of her anti regime change stance, or that she’s sided with a pedophile protecting fascist, it’s all because “liberal media” has reported on it, and that’s it 😹
What a fucking braindead thing to say 🤣
PLUTO_HAS_COME_BACK@reddit
She has been sidelined. But she had a chance to lead the mass outside the established politics, probably not very significantly. She might get millions of followers if started a podcast, with dignity.
New-Foundation4381@reddit
Fucking skunk bitch.
JasonPlattMusic34@reddit
If you’re a progressive she wasn’t even the person you thought she was in 2020. She endorsed Biden over Bernie. Of course now she’s fully on the MAGA train anyway
watching_whatever@reddit
Why? Why are their not many articles in Reddit about the corruption found in Minnesota and California? Only posts about Trump that are negative.

Pro tip: anyone saddling themselves to MAGA is corrupt
Tiny_Definition6342@reddit
Pro tip: Anyone making the pathetic excuse for an argument you just made is a pitiful buffoon who doesn't have the first clue what he's talking about.
You'd have been better off if you just peppered your idiocy with buzzwords like "nazi" and "white supremacist" as all the other devoted liberal simpletons do. If you had, you may have scored some updoots among your asinine leftie peers.
omegaphallic@reddit
Nobody does. I kept giving her benifit of the doubt far longer then I should have, perhaps because betrayal is hard to deal with, but she betrayed everything she stood for. She used to be a person of incredible integrity, but she sold her soul to MAGA. Personally I think revenge motivates her.
GrauchoMarx@reddit
If you do a really through deep dive into her history, you'll see she's been flip-flopper since her first election. She's never had any longstanding principles other to get elected and serve her dark lord.
zombierapture@reddit
..controlled opposition
IVcrushonYou@reddit
Oh no. Anyway...
Correct_Bet_3742@reddit
She went from democrat to republican and you have a problem with her? Not Democratic Party??
AuntPolgara@reddit
I quit trusting her years ago. She is soulless.
Mrfixit729@reddit
Yup. Lost all respect.
romremsyl@reddit
Same, she's serving a war president and not doing much if anything to protect civil liberties at home either as citizens get killed.
