what film can you relate with your life?

For me after watching it recently i would say Better Man the Robbie Williams movie. Due to I relate with what he was dealing with in the movie ( having bad thoughts in my head telling me im a failure, im worth nothing, and im a loser). What about everyone else what movie relates to your life?

The first was a hook up guy that after I broke up with him after 4 years. 15 years later we lived together as boyfriend & girlfriend. Then he left. The second was a great man & boyfriend. Sadly, he ended it after my insane mother called his stepmother first time & only time we spent the night together!

I was not! Complete craziness! There were also 2 men (one not so far in future & one recently). One told me on third date after we got married, he wanted to raise our kids in Australia! The other told me on our second date he wanted to marry me while all the while wanted to change things about me. All he ever talked about was his late wife which I do understand.

Or, are the men you're talking to? I'm genX and given the story of 'late wife' figure you're not 20s (but could be, of course)

I’m older than the characters in the film and no longer in school but I still can relate to the film, *The Perks of Being a Wallflower*. I was very much like Charlie as a teenager, anxious, shy, introverted, wanted to be a writer, mental health issues (I’m umbrella-ing this part on purpose) and incredibly loyal to their friends. Always people watched too. I’m just now an older version of that same teenager, as me now in my 30’s. There’s certain beats to the film (and the book) that just hit a bit too close to home, so every time I’ve watched it, I’ve cried. Sobbed even. I’ve recently been told by a professional, that I seem to show traits of suffering with ptsd from things growing up that I seemingly hadn’t dealt with before now. So yeah, the film always makes me feel raw inside, emotionally.

Not a movie, a series, but I found Elsa Dutton in “1883” very relatable to my own personality. Was the first time I felt like I saw someone similar to myself represented in television. Reflective, a bit sentimental, idealistic/excessively optimistic, and someone who does her own thing…. They’re traits I can strongly identify with
