Team 47 DOTS optical tape archival system

Not a great deal of information out there despite it still being experimented with to this day, it uses a phase change alloy to record the dots and a camera picks up the dots to be converted back to data, I know of another system that does what it does but the capacity is confirmed (not vaporware but still rarer than finding 20 RedWood SD-3 drives) to be 1TB in 1989 which I can post too if you want that too
