[Jack Smith](https://preview.redd.it/0t7004sl64fg1.jpg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78dff013045705c3043854d76ab4d0835f754d90) I don't post often. And I have no intention of making this a political post. But today I just wanted to point out that Jack Smith is GenX. He was born in 1969. I've witnessed how may GenXers have fallen for the bullshit and become boomer-ish, and seen how others even falsely tag GenXers as boomers. It really pisses me off. We are rebels, and we should conduct ourselves as such. We should call out the bullshit, the lack of ethics, morality and the rule of law. "Yeah, sure, whatever" - that's what got us here. I've been watching for a GenXer I could call a "stand up guy." I watched his testimony yesterday and he truly inspired me. His determination, his calm demeanor in the face of sooo many haters attempting to sully his reputation. Like him, I don't really lean either R or D. I try to vote on the content of the message and what policies are put forth. However, his message, "the law is no self-executing," really carried some weight with me. Neither are morality or ethics. Five words that really describe how far we've fallen. I finally found one who inspires me.
