Does anyone know of a good way to get a UK phone number in the US?
Its is really important that it is fully reliable and all the sites I have looked into seem really scammy. It feels like there must be a good solution to this but I can't seem to find one. Apparently Skype used to do this but no longer does.
I need something where I can receive incoming calls, any good experiences to share?

I switched to Tamar Telecom because I needed a UK landline that rings to me, no matter where I am. They handled the forwarding part, and the sound quality is way above the apps I tested before

I agree with the poster below - for $2 a month for a UK virtual phone number, you will be hard pressed to find a cheaper but also more reliable option than Zadarma.

I used a Skype UK phone number for 15 years until they shut it down last year. I'm now using https://www.voipfone.co.uk/ which seems to work well

Has it been ok? I have had the WORST experience with trying a lot of the others, really scammy, won't let you cancel the account or delete your information etc.

You can buy a UK number from dialnanyone. I used it to keep my bank account active (for receiving calls and 2FA codes) when I moved countries and it was a life saver.
