Already have my 9800X3D PC with 2x16GB 6000 CL30 – adding another identical 2x16 kit for 64GB, will it be stable?

Hey guys, I already built/received my PCSpecialist PC with Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ASUS TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WIFI, and Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2x16GB kit). Runs great at full EXPO 6000. Now I need more RAM (heavy multitasking + some editing), so I want to buy the exact same Corsair kit (another 2x16GB) to make it 4x16GB 64GB. From what I've read, 4 sticks on Ryzen 9000 (especially X3D) can be tricky on the IMC – lots of people say you end up dropping to 5600 or lower for stability, or get boot issues/training fails. Anyone here done exactly this with Corsair Vengeance 6000 CL30 on 9800X3D + B850 board? Did you keep 6000 stable, or had to downclock? Any BIOS tweaks that helped (latest BIOS, voltage bumps, etc.)? Or should I just sell the current 2x16 and grab a 2x32GB kit to avoid headaches? Thanks for real experiences – don't want to waste money if it's gonna be unstable! (Quick specs reminder: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ASUS TUF B850-PLUS WIFI, Corsair Vengeance RGB 6000 CL30 now 2x16, planning 4x16)

If you really want to run 64GB with EXPO you would need to get a 2x32 kit. Without EXPO running 4x16 would be fine.

you'll probably have to reduce speeds, impossible to say. every cpu/board combo is a bit different

4 sticks of ram will run slower than dual channeling, unless you really need the extra space its dead weight

I have 4 sticks and I’m running 6000mts, 64gb. You’ll be fine. Just make sure they are the exact same manufacturer. Some come from different companies under the hood. I’ve stress tested- run all of the tests- perfectly fine. No issues at all. 9800x3d w/Asus TUF B650e-e Kingston Fury Beast 32gb @6000mts X2 Lian Li 1000w PSU 5070ti Fuckin send it and buy what you know you want.

Having done this yesterday with a 9950x3d it’s possible. I did what you are suggesting except i was using two different dies which makes it even worse for compatibility in theory. I would add the system booted fine and no obvious issues encountered when i installed the ram. Memtestx86 has thrown no errors after some tweaking (it had one bit flip in a single pass when expo was enabled) but then clean bill from memtestx86. I might run some more tests to be sure but i have run for 4 hrs so it should be fine
