Do i need another cable for 5080?

Have this PSU with a 3080 currently [https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-P6-0850-X1](https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-P6-0850-X1) Ordered a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5080 WINDFORCE SFF There is lots of information about the pin connectors, melting, atx 3 PSUs, etc; So im a bit lost, i did try googling before i asked cause i thought i could figure it myself

Currently running a TUF 5080 OC with a Corsair RM850x with no problems so far. I did buy a 90 degree angle cable that was compatible with my PSU because the card was a bit close to the side of my case (Corsair Airflow 4000D) to avoid having to bend the cables too much. Nothing wrong with the connector in the box though from what I have read so far, most people don't like the look for the most part.

5080 shoulddddd come with an adapter that converts three (3) 8pin cables to a singular 12pin power adapter that connects straight to the GPU So if you three 8pin pcie cables available, you should be okay. I’d prefer 3 separate cables from the PSU for something that powerful, but I’m sure there’s people that do an 8 then an 8+8 pigtail cable. So a total of 2 cables from the PSU in that specific configuration
