I did mine through SS (didn’t buy just submitted) and had to put cleo info on the form. Think I did when I self form1’d my sbr too.
Like I said most CLEO won't probably care but I said you can just drop it off in the middle of the night at the door. You did you due diligence at that point.
I'm going to have to send a letter to mine for my sbr's when they get approved. You can just drop the off at the front door, because that's all you need to do to show you've made an attempt.

Silencer shop is very backed up on applications right now so it may not be the best idea to order through them unless you’re willing to wait for them to process your form

Either way, the thing I DID find annoying was that it felt like an extra layer of slowness trying to wait for the SS portal to successfully grt through the ATF portal. Felt like an extra failure point and less visibility of if it was going through.

Amazing can for an amazing price, but I just want to warn anyone who is worried about gas that this can is gassy. I run it from 7.5” to 16” and still get gas, but other than that, it’s amazing.

Great can for the price...hard to spend $800 plus now after owning this...rather have 2 and have a dedicated can for ea gun. Good guys at double m defense in case anyone is on the fence. My go-to place for transfers. Always have competitive prices and just good people. Support these guys.
This is hindsight for most people who don’t have experience in the game, but choosing a high-quality barrel with intelligent gas port sizing, or even suppressor dedicated/optimized from folks who know what they’re doing and you can reduce most of the drawbacks from a traditional style baffle can like this.
You get the benefits of superior sound reduction and a great value proposition being able to purchase two cans vs a flow through if one wanted.
I purchased two polo k’s about two years ago based off of all the positive experiences I’ve had seen on here and just across the community and have absolutely no regrets at all. Yes some of my budget bills are gassy or were modified with BRT tubes but even then you still come out way ahead.
