Other than GB, GI, and some big retailers like Cabela’s, what are some other good places to look for what I’d best categorize as “boomer hoard” firearms?

If you’ve got an Academy around you, they have brass Monarch 9mm boxes for around 21 cents a round. It’s just Brazilian Magtech ammo afaik. Just check the back of the box to see if it’s the Brazilian or Turkish manufactured stuff.
Plus if you can find Blazer or something for a similar price for one box online, then Academy will match it then take off 5% for as many as you want to get. Mine will match dropshippers as well, which is sick

No worries. The 0 MOA is level so the optic is inline with the barrel essentially. The 20 MOA will have a 20 MOA CANT angling the optic down toward the front so you can use more of the adjustment on the scope for longer ranges. With an LPVO, I would recommend a 0MOA as you are less likely to need the extra adjustment.

Honestly depending on how much transfer fees are Bass Pro and Academy meet or beat only stores. Lowest I found was 226 but that’s before the usual $25 in shipping and $20-40 in transfer fees. Puts you about $5 more expensive than a big chain store.

What's the current BIN price and vendor for MP5 clones? I'm propbably going to get a K model in the next few months. MAC or MKE? I feel like I've been reading that the MAC teething issues have been worked out and I've been seeing issues with magazine catch fitment on MKEs recently.
Prices have been varying but if you can find an AP5 for less than 1200 that’s a solid price. MKE mag catches are ugly, but generally I’ve seen less issues with them especially after upgrading the common components of extractor, extractor spring, and ejector with genuine HK parts.
I'm looking for deals on any .22 pistols with a threaded barrel. I've looked at the Ruger mkiv, FN 502, S&w victory, and i've even considered a keltec p17 😂. The Keltec cp33 is kinda neat too. No worries. The 0 MOA is level so the optic is inline with the barrel essentially. The 20 MOA will have a 20 MOA CANT angling the optic down toward the front so you can use more of the adjustment on the scope for longer ranges. With an LPVO, I would recommend a 0MOA as you are less likely to need the extra adjustment.

Prices have been varying but if you can find an AP5 for less than 1200 that’s a solid price. MKE mag catches are ugly, but generally I’ve seen less issues with them especially after upgrading the common components of extractor, extractor spring, and ejector with genuine HK parts.

Unsolicited take: Don’t let a 10% difference between a 2024 price and 2026 price get in your way of having fun with the TX22, particularly if you’re gonna spend twice as much on a different brand just for the sake of getting annoyed at economics. Life’s short - days spent ripping with the TX are worth more than days spent waiting to save 10 bucks on one.
