What are some genuinely effective ways you’ve cut down your energy bills?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to be more intentional about my energy use this year, partly to save money and partly just to waste less overall. There’s a lot of advice online, but it’s hard to tell what actually makes a noticeable difference versus what’s just noise. I’d love to hear from real people: * What habits or changes actually reduced your energy bills? * Anything surprisingly effective (or completely pointless)? * Small day-to-day things or bigger changes, both welcome. For context, I’m especially interested in things that don’t require huge upfront costs, but I’m open to hearing about longer-term investments too if they paid off for you. Thanks!
