A keyboard is the last thing I need on my PC build but there's too much choice out there with varying price ranges. The best advice I always get these days is on Reddit from people with experience of using a product .

• I've never had a mechanical keyboard before but would like to give one a try. Really no idea what type to choose.
• I don't play anything competitively but play FPS games on keyboard (xbox controller for third person games)
• A numpad is a must as this will double as a work keyboard.
• RGB also but I can't see myself changing the colours up too much once I find something I like (this is the same with the RGB in my PC). I have a lot of Cosair RGB but I don't do much software customisation.
• Wrist rest detachable would be good
• Price - black friday is coming up and I am willing to spend a bit more to get a quality keyboard. But if expensive I would need to understand what benefits it gives over a no-name cheaper RGB mechanical keyboard on amazon.
