Comparing a Bog to this is Apples to Oranges.
These are absolutely rock solid, built like a tank, meant for hard use.… Great hardware and thick carbon legs. Never had the same confidence in a Bog. Don’t get me wrong, Bog is good for what it is…. But this upper echelon of tripods is next level.
I know there are many many many that would echo the same sentiment.

Depends on applications. I’ve only played with a BOG once, I could see the use for lightweight hunting and photography but not varmint or PRS, it flexed under load and wasn’t as stable. It’s like the Harris v CYKE pod argument. It’s all niche but if you have that need, get what works . FatBoy just released their lightweight packable version.

These are dedicated hunting/competition tripods. Made to take the weight of your gear or suspend your kills underneath plus your rifle on top, not a flimsy camera rig. I’ve suspended myself from this thing, it’ll take the weight.
