Are they still fighting in Syria?
Striking-Balance-721@reddit (OP)
Not really but also really the sdf and Syrian government were on a peace deal for some time until the syrian government accused the kurds of something and attacked the largely fortified kurdish neighborhood in aleppo they failed to take control of it because the police force (asayish) bombarded their positions and led them to retreat this syrian video was in the earlier part of the battle after the sunset the Syrians retreated for the most part then came attacking in the night again im not sure what happened next
Substantial-Tone-576@reddit
Ok. Thank you
Fit-Medium3807@reddit
this guy is lieing through his teeth btw
The conflict arose after the SDF targeted the syrian army multbale times
ik this is old but i feel like you should know the truth
And no the SDF doesnt represent the kurds
Fit-Medium3807@reddit
whats so bad about this tho
you put a gun on a mobile platform
but said mobile platform cant take recoil
so you just put a recoiless gun instead
Idk seems smart
eMGunslinger@reddit
Having shot a lot of recoilless rifles whatever ammo they are using is extremely sketchy because those guns do not recoil.
Fit-Medium3807@reddit
Couldnt it be moving because the guy maybe flinched after firing?
Idk your idea is probably more accurate consdring ammo in syria is very old
RoachdoggJR_LegalAcc@reddit
It’s essentially a rocket launcher that burns all of the projectiles fuel instantly in an explosion. The backblast from this makes the dangerous backblast of an RPG look like a hair dryer in comparison.
eMGunslinger@reddit
I know, like I said I’ve shot them and own live cannons. This one was offered to me for my collection because I know enough about them to not kill myself like most people.
RoachdoggJR_LegalAcc@reddit
That looks even more violent than what I remember. If a human was like 6 feet behind that, they might actually be reduced to scattered bones .
an_older_meme@reddit
Recoilless rifles aren’t.
eMGunslinger@reddit
What?
Paramoth@reddit
Recoilless
IronWarhorses@reddit
it was better before ISISreal and USA flooded the place with terrorists to justify the "war on terror"
Imaginary_Sherbet@reddit
Ya seen that comedian Shane Gillus talking about iraqi insurgents. . . . This is what he was talking about.
Infinite_Ad_2251@reddit
Is this on a Toyota Land Cruiser, I can't tell from the back?
Striking-Balance-721@reddit (OP)
I doubt a toyota land cruiser is this small especially when the trunk looks like this
Imaginary_Sherbet@reddit
Recoilless rifles on everything
MichaelEmouse@reddit
It makes sense. RLs are heavy, have heavy ammo and a civilian truck's suspension would have a hard time handling the recoil of a cannon or autocannon. RLs have about 1km range which is alright.
Just remember to chant "Allahu Akbar" for the +1 aiming buff.
sentinelthesalty@reddit
You can do the same with a regular old cannon. There was some fella, who put a 90mm cannon on the back of a Rover. Suspension didn't liked it.
